Tenterfield MOT Centre

from Ian Rushworth Tenterfield MOT Centre

I have been contacted by Messrs Ted Dicken and Jim Wright, both of who are friends and acquaintances for the last 5 years. Both of these people are of impeccable character and dedicated in what they do and have spent the last 5 years that I know of, pursuing the development of an additive to reduce smoke output in diesel emissions. I am happy to be associated with them and endeavour to help them in any way I can.

In the time that I have worked with them we conducted hundreds of smoke emission tests on our calibrated MOT smoke analyser in the garage and also on various site locations for plant and farmyard machinery. As an average I would say we saw a 50 – 80 percent reduction on smoke output with vehicles that had been using CAT 5.

Our own diesel vehicles saw a reduction of 65% in smoke output and a significant saving on fuel consumption.

Our results from the testing methods, all carried out at a minimum engine temperature of 80 deg Celsius, which is the requirement for MOT testing, can also be seen on the CAT5  Link video.

CAT 5 is an excellent product which will be a huge benefit to the motor industry and the environment. The haulage industry as a whole will benefit from cleaner and healthier engines as well as a reduction in operating costs for fuel.

I would recommend that having read my appraisal your company seriously considers taking on this product in the fight to reduce global smoke emissions

Yours Faithfully

Ian Rushworth
